The robust VEteq™ viscoelastic polymer VIP is designed to direct forces over a wider surface area alleviating pressure points and evenly distributing weight.

Development:

The VEteq™ polymer has a combined 50 years of published human research and numerous studies that have been done in multiple sporting applications. The feel of the VIP is very soft and flexible, yet the durable structure of the polymer guarantees huge tensile strength allowing the pad to always maintain its shape under extreme and prolonged compression. So unlike foam and gel pads, the VIP can deflect an applied load without bottoming out and whilst being extremely effective. The thinness (8mm) of the VIP pad does not compromise the optimum close contact feel. A fantastic tool on horses with healthy backs to avoid injury and discomfort as well as for those with existing problems.

Pony: For ponies up to 13.2hh or 138cm. Will fit 14-15.5” saddle

Medium: For wider ponies and all horses up to 15.2hh or 158cm. Will fit 16-17” saddle

Original: Fits all styles of saddles up to 18”, including side saddles and some western saddles.

Easy to clean, no sticky feel!
The pad doesn't have holes so does not create friction, doesn't trap hair, leak, flow, or get that awful sticky feel. VEteq™ polymer is hypoallergenic, easily cleaned with water or a damp cloth and does not support bacterial growth.

Use the VIP always bobble side to the horse, so bobble side down against horse’s back/saddle cloth and smooth side against saddle panels. It is totally hypoallergenic and bacteriostatic so you can either use it directly on your horses back or between the saddle cloth and saddle. Horses have preferences so try both ways to find out what is best for your horse.

Please note: this product does not alter saddle fit and will not compensate for a poorly fitting saddle

We know you're excited about receiving your order, so we aim to get it to you fast! Your goodies will be dispatched through NZ Post Courier. Most orders ship out the next day, apart from when the courier is closed during weekends and public holidays.

If an item is urgently needed, contact us straight away and we will do our best to have the product dispatched the same day.

North Island deliveries require 1–3 business days.

South Island deliveries require 3-5 business days.

We pride ourselves on providing our customers with the best possible shipping rates we can offer. To achieve this we cover a portion of the shipping fees to a rural address and offer a flat-rate shipping fee to your region.

How do I make a return?

We want you to love what you ordered. If something's not quite right or you’ve had a change of mind, you have 21 days from your purchase date to return or exchange your item.

Eligibility

Received an incorrect item(s) in your order
Received a damaged or faulty item
Changed your mind (the return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund)

Trying the item on your horse is perfectly fine and encouraged. But please do so over a cotton, cooler or sheet to avoid horsehair transferring onto the product, that way if a return/exchange is required the product is received back to us clean, unused, with tags and in its original packaging. No need to be a folding expert, let us handle that part.

Eligible items can be returned to us by following these steps:

Email admin@horsefit.co.nz or use the Contact Us form to initiate the returns process. Please don't return items directly to the manufacturer.

You'll need to provide a receipt or proof of purchase. Don't have one? Contact us, we can help you find that.

Faulty and/or damaged items - a photo will be required

A return shipping label and instructions for your product return will be sent to the email account on your order. If you wish to redirect to a different email account, we can do that, just let us know.

If the item isn't in its original condition (e.g. damaged or missing parts), we may issue a partial refund or return the item to you.

Sale & Clearance Items:

Sale items are eligible for return, exchange or credit
Clearance items or Last of the Line are final sale, and not eligible for return. However, if you have a clearance item that you believe is faulty, please reach out to us for further assistance.

Who pays for the return of the item?

It is important to us that the item being used on your horse is the correct size. We wish to make size exchanges as affordable as possible for our customers. We will ship the correct size to you free of charge.

You are responsible for the return shipping cost of the incorrect size being exchanged. The invoice for this fee will be sent to the email account on the order, along with a printable pre-paid shipping label. The return shipping fee must be paid prior to the exchange item’s release.

How long will my refund take to process?

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5-7 business days after we inspect and approve the return. We'll email you with an update. Initial shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Refunds for non-faulty items (e.g. change of mind) will have shipping costs deducted from the refunded amount.
If your order had free shipping, the cost of return delivery will be deducted from your refunded amount.
Store credits (not due to a product fault) are valid for 12 months
